The MerProtect™ Protocol is designed to support the body in detoxifying and eliminating mercury and other metals released during removal of “silver” dental amalgams. Dental amalgam is a mixture of 50% elemental mercury, along with a powdered alloy of silver, tin, and copper.

The MerProtectâ„¢ Protocol supports our powerful internal protective and antioxidant defenses, and promotes detoxification with targeted phytonutrients and biomolecules. Toxic metals are escorted by your detoxification system into the GI tract where they are captured by binders to be safely and permanently eliminated by the body. This protectionary protocol lasts one week – with doses to be taken before, during and subsequent to amalgam removal.

The MerProtectâ„¢ Protocol integrates two unique Quicksilver Scientific products:

Liposomal Glutathione Complexâ„¢: An elegant blend of elements necessary for the glutathione system to enable natural detoxification. Contains the essential core of liposomal glutathione with nanoparticle milk thistle for broad hepatoprotection and all the B vitamins necessary as cofactors for liver metabolism.

AmalgaClearâ„¢: A specially formulated and targeted binder formulation that works across the gut to intercept and neutralize mercury and associated amalgam metals. Contains IMD, our proprietary thiol-funcitonalized silica, bentonite clay for metal binding, and buffered Vitamin C for its broad-spectrum antioxidant capacity. Because binders can be constipating, the soothing and fluidizing prebiotic acacia gum is also included in the blend.

Please follow the dosage schedule below, taking Liposomal Glutathione Complexâ„¢ first and AmalgaClearâ„¢ second, in matched doses.

A dosing cycle consists of one teaspoon of Liposomal Glutathione Complexâ„¢ held 30 seconds before swallowing; followed 30 minutes later by one teaspoon of AmalgaClearâ„¢ stirred into four to eight ounces of water.

Suggested use: One complete dosing cycle completed at least 20-30 minutes before a meal.

seconds before swallowing.)

In a perfect setting, waiting 30 minutes is optimal, but intervals may be adjusted down to 20 minutes to accommodate a hectic schedule. As long as the dosing cycles are spaced at intervals throughout the day the protocol will be effective.
